Biography:

Research Experience more 13 years on Immunodiagnostics for Tuberculosis, Hepatitis and Infectious Diseases, Studies on Biomarkers Identification and exploring them on various diagnostic platforms, Macrophage and cell culture studies, Enzyme kinetics and protein purifications studies.

8. Consolation Prize for best poster - Inhibition of M. tb secretory serine protease, blocks bacterial multiplication both in axenic culture & in human macrophages at International Conference- Open Source for Computer Aided Drug Design at Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh in 2009.
9. Professor G. P. Talwar Young Scientist Award for best paper 'SEVA TB ES-31 Ag- Mycobacterial Metallo-Serine Protease of interest in Serodiagnosis, Drug Target and its Further Characterization at 34th Indian Immunology Society conference at National AIDS Research Institute, Pune in 2007.

Asian & Pacific Federation of Clinical Biochemists (APFCB) Silver Jubilee Scholarship for Detection of M.tb Excretory Secretory Ag ES-31, ES-43 and EST-6 in TB Patients with HIV Co-infection by ELISA & Immunoblotting at 11th Asian Pacific Congress of Clinical Biochemistry, Beijing (China) in 2007.
11. M.G.I.M.S. (Sewagram) Award (2005) for best poster on Isolation of M.tuberculosis Excretory Secretory Protein Antigens ES-31, ES-43 and EST-6 of Diagnostic Interest from Tubercle Bacilli by Affinity Chromatography at 32nd Annual Conference of Association of Clinical Biochemists of India, Patna (Bihar) in 2005.
